Hello,

I have a wordpress site and it's mainly for displaying images. The website performance isn't the best, and after doing pretty much everything I can do, It was suggested to me to host all static files in a different server.

Is this possible ? and will it help ? Let me know

Thanks

You can offload your images, CSS and javascript files to a CDN. This could be a free solution like CloudFlare or a paid one like BunnyCDN.

The Jetpack plugin also has a built-in CDN feature you can use for free.

Also ensure images are compressed, served at the right size, and converted to .webp for even better performance.

If you go for Cloudflare as the solution, remember to enable the "Cache Everything" Option.

It is a great feature which makes your website amazingly fast, but I only recommend it to websites which don't have membership and blogs/forums. Other people will be served the wrong cached page, new blog comments don't show up quickly enough, and so on.
